We use a hardened mineral glass

Mineral glass is the most widely used glass in watches worldwide. Mineral glass refers to the structure and hardness of the glass, it is 20x more scratch-resistant than ordinary acrylic glass. The surface is treated to stay nice and scratch-free.

You measure the hardness in a scale called the Vickers Scale (HV), regular mineral glass measures about 400 HV. What Orrefors uses is at 800 HV, which can be compared to hardened steel at about 500 HV.

The glass is not scratch free, but it is very scratch resistant.

In O-Time, we run VJ20 movement from the Seiko Group, one of the world's largest manufacturers of watches. The watch is manufactured and assembled in Japan and is one of the more popular movements on the market as it is thinner (only 2.28mm thick) than Myota's counterpart while also being reliable. VJ20 a deviation of about 5-10 seconds a month, which belongs to the normal among quartz movements.
